All by myself. After years of having to work for others, I finally decided to focus on my part-time job that I had been doing besides any full-time job that I've had for the past 12 years.<br /><br />Interpreting.<br /><br />I have a Bachelor of Arts in translation and interpretation in Turkish and English, but I never thought that I would make a career out of it. Basically, what made me take the leap was the fact that I was tired of taking orders. It was as simple as that. And I really wanted to do my own thing at my own pace. Once I had decided, it was just so easy. It was like the most obvious thing in the world! Of course, the people closest to me thought I was crazy and that I should snap out immediately. I told people that I would give myself until New Year, and see how far I could take this. Now it's the middle of January, and things are finally starting to pick up.<br /><br />I'll be sharing some interpreting-related stuff here once in a while, so if you're interested in anything in particular just let me know!<br /><br />Language is power.
